From 31883c6c76c5039f3b2260d24cf8eb1c6c343cca Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: schwarze Date: Tue, 12 Aug 2014 19:27:57 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] In mdoc(7) and man(7), if a width is given as a bare number without specifying a unit, the implied unit is 'n' (on the terminal, one character position; in PostScript, half of the current font size in points), not 'u' (roff output device basic unit). No functional change right now, but important for the upcoming scaling unit fixes. --- usr.bin/mandoc/out.c | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/usr.bin/mandoc/out.c b/usr.bin/mandoc/out.c index c1794a9e8cc..09c910c9927 100644 --- a/usr.bin/mandoc/out.c +++ b/usr.bin/mandoc/out.c @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -/* $Id: out.c,v 1.22 2014/08/08 16:00:23 schwarze Exp $ */ +/* $Id: out.c,v 1.23 2014/08/12 19:27:57 schwarze Exp $ */ /* * Copyright (c) 2009, 2010, 2011 Kristaps Dzonsons * Copyright (c) 2011 Ingo Schwarze @@ -108,7 +108,7 @@ a2roffsu(const char *src, struct roffsu *dst, enum roffscale def) case '\0': if (SCALE_MAX == def) return(0); - unit = SCALE_BU; + unit = SCALE_EN; break; case 'u': unit = SCALE_BU; -- 2.20.1
